Persistent limescale on the shower wall, taps or in the toilet is not pleasant. With the Ha-Ra Kalkex set, you have everything at home to tackle it. You can quickly make your own descaling spray and spray it exactly where needed.

Kalkex is a powerful descaler based on citric acid. It is odourless, completely dissolves in water and is very economical: one pot is good for more than 12 litres of ready-to-use solution.

What is included in the set?

• 2 × Ha-Ra Kalkex, each 250 g
• 1 × Ha-Ra Kalkex spray bottle, 500 ml (empty)

Use : Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Kalkex (approx. 10 g) in 0.5 litres of water and 5 drops of HaRa maintenance product in the spray bottle and spray the solution on the surface you want to descale. You can find more instructions in the leaflet. Always test the product first on an inconspicuous spot and follow the manufacturer's instructions for your device or surface.

What can you use Kalkex for? Kalkex consists of pure citric acid, without fragrances or colourings. This makes it widely applicable throughout the household:

• Descaling coffee machines and Senseo: dissolve 1 teaspoon of Kalkex in water and let the machine run through. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterwards.
• Descaling kettles: boil a solution of 1 teaspoon of Kalkex and water, let it sit for a while and rinse thoroughly.
• Descaling washing machines: put 1 teaspoon of Kalkex in the detergent drawer and start a wash cycle. You can also add it during the wash.
• Descaling dishwashers: 1 teaspoon of Kalkex in the detergent drawer and run a programme.
• Taps, shower walls and tiles: spray the solution on and wipe off with Viva ultra and dry with microfibre Star or Topper
• Toilet and limescale rim: see the tip below.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your device and rinse thoroughly with clean water after descaling.

Tip: removing limescale around your tap or in the toilet: Troubled by a stubborn limescale ring around the tap or under the toilet rim? Spray the Kalkex solution onto a strip of toilet paper and place it around the tap or under the rim of the toilet. Leave it to work for at least 15 minutes, remove the paper and wipe the surface with a damp Ha-Ra Viva Ultra cloth. Done: a shiny tap and a limescale-free toilet, without scrubbing.
