Apple Fruit Tea – Dried Apple Pieces, Natural Fruit Infusion

Apple Fruit Tea – Dried Apple Pieces, Natural Fruit Infusion

fruity, sweet and refreshing

A loose fruit tea made from pure apple pieces, without aroma. The taste is that of the apple itself: naturally sweet, fruity and mild, without acidity or spices getting in the way. Delicious as hot apple tea on cold days and just as good as iced tea in the summer.

Ingredients: 100% apple pieces.

Taste: naturally sweet, fruity and soft. No added aroma.

Preparation

Hot tea

  • Water: 90°C
  • Amount: 1-2 teaspoons per cup
  • Steep: 5-7 minutes

Iced tea

  • Amount: 12-15 grams per litre of water
  • Add boiling water and the tea
  • Let steep, let cool and serve with plenty of ice. A slice of lemon or a sprig of mint goes well with it.
  • Or add cold water, apple pieces and leave in the fridge overnight

Why this Turkish apple tea belongs in your cup (or carafe)

  • Pure apple: one ingredient, without aroma or additives
  • Caffeine-free, so you can drink it at any time of the day
  • Hot or cold: one tea for winter and summer
  • Naturally sweet, so you usually don't need sugar. Serve it in a nice glass teapot, then you can see the colour and the pieces
  • Perfectly complements another tea to vary the flavour

Store in an airtight tea tin in a dry, dark place.
